1: Organic foods are raised in such a way that they do not contain all the chemicals and pesticides that are found in regular food sources. Over a period of time, accumulation of these toxins could certainly lead to health problems of many kinds. By eating organic foods, you may actually eliminate many potential health problems down the road. It won't happen immediately, but over time.

Pesticides,footprint: Growing food organically is better for the planet. It requires taking better care of the soil to prevent erosion and runoff. May not be as fuel intensive.The effects of many industrialized chemicals used in modern food production are not all known. Some produce higher in chemicals than others. (see dirty dozen) the usda makes no claim that organic food is more nutritious than conventional food.
