No to sungazing: Sungazing can cause damage to the macula, the most sensitive seeing part of the retina. If this is damaged by the sun, you could have permanent vision loss.

Very bad: This is a terrible idea. The sun emits powerful ultraviolet rays which will irreversibly and severely damage your central retina (macula). This is a condition known as "solar maculopathy". If you don't like the idea of having a permanent dark spot in your central vision, please don't look directly at the sun.

Potentially very bad: Short exposure not harmful, but staring for a long time could burn your retina.
