Rash/Pharyngitis: 24 year old lady with question about what sounds like a skin reaction following a painful sore throat she treated with Advil (ibuprofen). Please visit your physician for a full exam. If your sore throat was severe and now you have a skin rash, you need to be examined to rule out Scarlet Fever. Ibuprofen can cause a severe skin rash/ TEN in about 5/1 million users so stop until you see your MD. Good luck.
