Get it evaluated.: A blood clot (dvt / deep vein thrombosis) is not a common occurrence in the foot. Seek professional assistance regarding the “blood clot” if indeed that is the correct diagnosis. More than likely though, it is just a bruise which may last week to months.

Get checked: Go see a podiatrist and get your foot evaluated. You may have to get vascular studies done nad will haveto see a vascular specialist.
