If : If you have a history of blood clots in the leg or pulmonary blood vessels, you should absolutely see a physician if you are experiencing pain or swelling in the leg after a traumatic injury. History of blood clots, leg trauma, prolonged immobility, and certain medical conditions increase the risk of blood clots. Yes: A blood clot or DVT takes time to develop. Pain would probably exist in the calf of the leg. Contact your physician or hospital ed.
