How does a natural doctor's approach differ from a regular doctor's?

Non-medication: Natural doctors focus on non-medication methods for treatment of a problem. I prefer the holistic approach which gives me the flexibility to use what seems most appropriate at the time with the intent to work all patients off of medications over time.

Holistic approach: A natural Dr. tends to spend more time with patients and look at the whole patient including factors like diet, lifestyle and stress. They focus on identifying the underlying cause of illness rather than treating symptoms. While regular docs focus mostly on drugs and surgery, natural docs also use complementary modalities like nutritional supplements, herbs, homeopathy, acupuncture and bodywork.

Body as a unit: I agree with the other 2 Physicians, with the exception of including "Osteopathy or Osteopathic Medicine" , which brings together the combination of medical practice . Osteopathy , as Dr. Still , MD had envisioned and taught , is the Body functions as a unit, that all systems are related together in a functional relationship together making the body one complete and functioning Unit.
