Blood clot: There are many blood tests to look for clotting disorders, both clotting too much and not quickly enough. If you are having active bleeding problems you should see your physician asap. If you are concerned about an inherited disorder blood tests can help here too.

It depends: If you are talking about blood issues there is a series of tests to check for hypercoauglable state ask your doctor if you are talking about local issues then sonogram.
