Ache in arm during blood test and after. do i need to be concerned about the pain or a risk of embolism? don't have any clotting disorders.

Not likely emboli: During test, the needle may penetrate through the vessel and blood pools and causes a "bruise" it is unlikely to be anything worrisome.

No: Blood draw utilize superficial veins, even if you developed a blood clot there is no danger of developing a symptomatic pulmonary emboli.
