Ask your doctor: Usually doctors will use versed, fentanyl or Propofol for sedation during a colonoscopy. Your doctor will customize your sedation based on your medical health.

Propofol: More and more frequently the colonoscopy procedures are being done using anesthesia providers and Propofol for sedation. This drug will not be interfered with by the subutex that you are currently taking.
