Most likely: you need to let the GI team know and decide with your Suboxone provider when to stop it. I'm not an expert in what they use for sedation, my guess is that they will give midazolam and Demerol (meperidine hydrochloride) for the procedure. prob stop bup 36h before procedure but please get your docs on board so they can anticipate any problems.

Should be fine.: What I wouldn't do is stop the Suboxone abruptly, as that could cause more troubles. Just let the anesthesiologist know that you're on that medication so that anesthetics may be adjusted accordingly.

Let them know before: Suboxone can interfere with narcotics given for pain during colonoscopy. It should not, however, interfere with sedating agents such as benzodiazepines or anesthetics such as barbiturates or propofol. It is worthwhile informing the anesthetist ahead of time, however, so he or she is aware and can plan appropriately.
