Could be normal: are you sure you had General Anesthesia? It's very unusual for colonoscopy. However you did have tube in your mouth breathing that's good cause sore throat. If you're a smoker sometimes it's normal to caugh as you wake up. In most patient this resolves in 2 to 3 days. If you have difficulty breathing, have fever, or coughing up yellow and green stuff you should talk to your doctor
