Does excessive drinking of alcohol make you look older than what you really are?

Most likely: Just look around. It is generally noted that people who are heavy drinkers or abusers of alcohol age prematurely. This is especially true with smokers. Alcohol should be use in moderation and usually not more than 1-2 ounces of alcohol per day. Moderate, moderate, moderate. Pickling doesn't preserve, it prunes!

Yes: Alcohol is toxic to all tissues, and regular use of high doses of alcohol significantly shortens life. Skin and its component collagen is particularly affected by alcohol consumption. In addition, heavy drinkers are often heavy smokers, and smoking also results in the appearance of aging. The combination of smoking and drinking appears to accelerate the process.
