Needs more tests: Have your husband see a hemeatology and oncologist specialist. They will want to get more history and run some more tests to make a diagnosis.

No: If it's a monoclonal gammopathy of uncertain significance, I'm sorry it was even found as usually nothing develops from these. There's a small risk of their turning into plasma cell myeloma. If this already is myeloma, you'll be advised on what to do next, and whether a marrow transplant is an option.
