Monoclonal antibodies may be indicative of MGUS-monoclonal gammapathy of undertermined significance , which may need monitoring as a small percentage (~1%) go on to blood cancers. https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/mgus/symptoms-causes/syc-20352362 Would follow up wth a hematologist.

It depends on amount of the protein constituting the bands. If it is more than 3 g/dL it warrants additional investigation to rule out multiple myeloma. If you have any symptoms, such as tiredness, anemia, bone pain or weight loss you need to be evaluated. If the protein level is low, you need to be monitored and band level checked periodically.

Gave plasma, leading to tests (cbc, SPEP, immunofixation, FLC). Waiting for hemo consult. Have high IGA (7.09g/l) but low IGG (3.05) &low IGM(.15). Monoclonal IGA type lambda found (8.5mg/l), lambda=33.4mg/l, but LC ratio ok. Am I immune compromised?

High IGA (7.09 g/l), and low IGG (3.05) and low IGM (.15). Beta1 globulin is high, beta2 and gamma are low. Protein Monoclonal band is detected type IGA at 8.5 g/l. FLC = high lambda at 33.4mg/l (normal kappa &ratio). Worried until I see hematologist?
High KAPPA/LAMBDA LIGHT CHAIN/slightly high ratio.No Monoclonal protein immunofixation or serum electrophoresis. Is this a type of cancer?Normal WBC
Serum free light chain test shows normal kappa (8.7mg/dl), low lambda (3.80), high kap/lam ratio (2.31). Serum $ urine electrophoresis show no monoclonal protein, nor does serum immunofixation. Likely MGUS, myeloma, or admyloidosis? CBC/met panel ok.
