3rd molar: Wisdom teeth are the last or 3rd molars to erupt in the mouth. It usually occurs around ages 17-21 and many become impacted for lack of room. Wisdom teeth are the hardest to reach, clean, and have restorative done to. This is the main reason for removal of wisdom teeth.
