Unlikely: Hypothyroidism does not cause pancreatitis. The one way that it can indirectly affect the pancreas is if it causes high triglyceride levels (body metabolizes triglyceride sluggishly). High triglycerides can cause pancreatitis.

Thyroid: No directly. However a slow functioning thyroid can lead to lipids disorders leading to pancreas issues.
