Chances Are Good: Depending on the amount of body fat a woman has lost, anorexia nervosa is associated with infertility. Hormones, necessary for normal functioning of the female repoductive system, are partially manufactured in fat cells. No fat= no hormones. Eating disorders can be deadly, with a 25% mortality rate if untreated..!
