Hello, A : Hello, a starting point is good chemistry between you and your prospective surgeon. Your worry about having too much labia minora removed is appropriate; it is better to be conservative and have the procedure only if you have irritative symptoms from friction or perspiration. A surgeon should have experience in performing the procedure and be well versed in current techniques intended to produce a natural, comfortable surgical result.

Get : Get referrals, review photos, confirm hospital appointments, check out state licensing status and disciplinary actions, and meet with more than one surgeon to discuss your concerns. Many patients request an aggressive reduction whereas most surgeons will prefer to proceed conservatively. However, all plastic surgeons will generally try to meet or achieve their patient's requests if medically sound. View the link below for over 150 photos of labiaplasty results.

I : I would suggest a board certified plastic surgeon that you feel comfortable with, that will care for your well being, that will explain the procedure in details including: risks, benefits and complications. It would be helpful to see before and after photos of previous patients. Good luck.

Many Resorces.: I would suggest starting with the american society of plastic surgery and/or the aesthetic society of plastic surgery to obtain a list of well experienced board-certified plastic surgeons.
then, i would suggest you visit a few surgeons whose practices  concentrate him on aesthetic surgery. Ask  to see lots of examples of their work and preferably speak to patients who have had similar procedures.
