Ask surgeon : Not all surgeries are the same. Ask your surgeon. I usually recommend 6 weeks

Recovery labiaplasty: Its always BEST to check with your surgeon as we all have our own preferences on what you can and cannot do. If you were my patient, I would not have any concerns with swimming a week post op if everything was healing well. We are talking bobbing in the water and not things like water skiing. Swelling can be considerable still. ALWAYS best to check with your surgeon.

When suture out/gone: As long as the sutures are in place, they allow entry points for bacteria. Typically these are absorbed by 3 weeks. As long as the wounds are closed at this point (no drainage), and patients are allowed to return to most normal activities.
