There : There are possible complications that can occur with a barium enema. Possibilities include: gastrointestinal bleeding, crampy abdominal pain, perforation of your colon, or barium hardening and partially or completely obstructing your bowel. I am answering this four days after you wrote in. If you still have pain at this time, with your complex medical history, recommend that you contact your physician and advise.
