Symptoms of a concussion can include: headache, nausea, vomiting, confusion, blurred vision, slurred speech, weakness, feeling dazed, numbness, lack of coordination, problems with short term memory, dizziness as well as repeating things over and over. You can develop a concussion with or without loss of consciousness. If you have these types of symptoms, recommend that you see a doctor. If not, allow yourself to get the sleep you need.

Symptoms can vary and do not always follow a set pattern. The amount of force necessary to sustain a concussion can also vary, so something as innocuous as hitting you head on a metal lid, while unlikely, could cause a concussion.
