Basically : Basically avoid the things that stained them in the first place. Dark pigmented foods, coffee, tea, and smoking are no-no's. Use a whitening toothpaste and have regular checkups.

Be : Be especially careful in the first few days after whitening. That is when your teeth are most susceptible to staining. Also ask the people who are whitening your teeth if you can purchase a booster kit that you can use at home when stains start to form again.
