Unfortunately, : Unfortunately, they can stain again over time, so you can't avoid some staining. You can, however, minimize the staining by avoiding any foods that can stain, including coffee, tea, red wine, colas, etc. And obviously, no smoking. In addition, have your teeth cleaned professionally on a regular basis, and brush thouroughly twice a day at home. All of the above will help minimize the restaining of your teeth.

Basically : Basically avoid the things that stained them in the first place. Dark pigmented foods, coffee, tea, and smoking are no-no's. Use a whitening toothpaste and have regular checkups.

Be : Be especially careful in the first few days after whitening. That is when your teeth are most susceptible to staining. Also ask the people who are whitening your teeth if you can purchase a booster kit that you can use at home when stains start to form again.
