Simple : Simple answer....Yes. Tongues can harbor bacterial and fungal organisms especially if the tongue is fissured.

Sure : Sure tongues harbor bacteria but most bacteria is not harmful and does not cause bad breath. Try this simple test, don't brush your tongue for a few days and check if it changes color or appears swollen. Ask a close friend to tell you if your breath is offensive.
