Yeast: Often times when we are immunocompromised, yeast infections can occur in our mouths, especially the tongue. If you can clean it off just keep doing that. If it hurts you may need an anti fungal medication. Being sick can also just dry out our mouths. Then we can build up plaque on our tongue which is non painful. Tongue brushing is the treatment here too. Make sure to get a new toothbrush
