All : All surgeries have risks. Neck lift surgery is not particularly risky, though. The surgery itself is relatively superficial, in that we're mainly working with the skin and underlying muscle layer only. Your surgeon can best discuss the range of risks and make sure you're a good surgery candidate.

Neclift: During necklift life threatening complications are rare. However, nerve damage is possible leading to crooked smile, loss of sensation to the ear and these can be permanent.

Necklift risks: Are extraordinarily low in the proper surgical hands. But it's much more likely you'll have a poor result from inadequate surgery than have a serious complication like death, heart attack, stroke, blood clot, or nerve damage. I've never had one of any of these in 27 years of doing facelifts/necklifts. Is that because i'm good or because i'm careful? Or both? Luck has no role, but experience does.
