A member asked:

Are aching knees after exercise the a sign of arthritis in a young and healthy person?

Probably not: Aching after exercise can be a sign of many other problems like patellofemoral syndrome, chondromalacia patella, jumper's knee, bursitis and simple sprains/strains. Arthritis or degeneration of the actual knee joint would be less likely. A doctor can examine the knee to help find out.

No: More likely poor technique, wrong shoes or flat feet.
