This : This is hard to answer without actually seeing it but you may have candidial pharyngitis (thrush). People who have been on antibiotics, immunosuppressed, poor oral hygiene, can be prone to this. I would have your pcp , internist, or ENT if needed take a look before recommending a specific treatment.

Possibly yeast: The white splotches may be a yeast infection. You'll need to see your physician or dentist to determine if it is yeast, then start on an antifungal medication.
