My tongue hurts, is white, white bumps on top of tongue and red spot on side of tongue some congestion in throat/ on and off sore throat

See your doctor: The direct visualization of this will likely provide the diagnosis. Most common is bacterial or viral infection.

Office Visit: Too hard to DX over the internet, really need a clinical evaluation. May be able to go to emergent care to have issue seen immediately. Possibly dentally related, but most probably primary care issue for you. I hope this helps!
