Even : Even though the drug, opium, is from a different part of the poppy plant, there is a possibility of failing a drug test after eating poppy seeds. It was actually tried on a myth busters episode and has been written about on snopes.Com (see below)! luckily, many tests have taken this into consideration, so will only register much higher levels of opiates as an actual "positive" on a drug test than you can get from eating poppy seeds.
