Lipo-sculpture : Lipo-sculpture (or facial fat grafting) can sometimes be done with local anesthesia. It's more typical to have some sedation (or general anesthesia) if signifcant volumes are being transferred. You don't necessarily need to have general anesthesia. Iv sedation is a possibility.

Liposculpture : Liposculpture or liposuction, also known as lipoetching can all be done under local. Most doctors like myself use IV sedation and the rest of the surgeons use general anesthesia. Good luck from nyc. For more info visit www.Drgrossman.Com.

Usually sedation: This depends upon the patient, but a sedative with local anesthesia is usually sufficient for the procedure. Please discuss your concerns with your anesthesia provider before the procedure starts. Hope all goes well.
