Each : Each hygienist or doctor may have a different technique or work at a different pace when deep cleaning. I can't answer for your doctor, but if you have confidence in the recommendation and the doctor, then allow the amount of time that they are telling you that you need--plus travel--plus wait time--and you got it!

Our : Our deep cleaning appointments are scheduled for an hour. During that time we do as many areas as possible, but usually one. However, i dont think there is a typical amount of time. If your dentist chooses to give the hygienist 90 minutes- then thats great! you need to check with the dentist.
