Don : Don the extent and how busy doc is at that time.. Why not call in advance and ask for some extra time to do the recontouring.

Most : Most dentists will do minor tooth shaping during a regular visit, but of course the dentist will decide if it is truely minor.

It : It usually only takes a few minutes, so the answer should be yes, but it all depends on how busy the doctor is on that day. Personally, i always make time to do that during a hygiene visit.

Minor : Minor tooth shaping that would take less than a few minutes can often be done at a normal visit. Fees for this can vary widely, so be sure to ask in advance, as dental insurance will not contribute.
