A member asked:

When you have gingivitis how long does it take for all of you gums to get better. my gums don't bleed, had a deep cleaning in gum line by dentist?

Gingivitis: Quite variable. Depends upon the causative organisms, severity of gingivitis, treatment employed and the immune status of the host. Good luck. Should get better quickly.

Up to you: See Dentist as often as recommended, but Dentist can't do this alone. You have the major responsibility for keeping your gums healthy. Brush 2 full minutes(zebu the clock) at least 2x/day with sort toothbrush & pea sized portion of toothpaste. Very important, floss or Water Pik daily. Avoid excessive alcohol. Ask Dentist for more advice.
