Possible: It is certainly possible to get enough from diet alone since all cereals and most bakery products are folate (folic acid) fortified. However, you would have to eat a fair amount of these products. The rda might be satisfied, but folate (folic acid) has been shown to be good for the heart as well as being important especially for women of childbearing age. Supplements are likely a better source.
