It's : It's pretty common to have bruising after neck liposuction. How much you will have varies quite a bit but it should resolve after about 2 weeks. Avoiding blood thinner medications and supplements before and after surgery can help minimize how much bruising who'll have.

Possible: Bruising comes from different factors: trauma from liposuction, blood thinners prior to surgery ( aspirin, advil, aleve, (naproxen) ibuprofen, red wine, fish oil, garlic pills, .... The list is long), or you capillary fragility which is genetic. Some of these factors are controllable such as the technique , avoiding blood thinners etc , but some are not, just your capillary fragility.

Chin Lipo Bruising: Depending on the depth and extent of bruising it can take a few weeks or even more to disappear. Arnica pills and topical gel might help as well as camouflage makeup. Most of my patients have little or no bruising to speak of.
