Niacin?: Ask your doctors if they would agree with using Niacin, which a B vitamin which is effective at lowering the LDL and triglycerides and raising the HDL. As a side effect you can get facial redness and flushing for a little while after dosing but this is eliminated by flush-free versions which are available OTC and which are fairly inexpensive.
