My mother has both femurs broken, significant blood loss, blood clots in her legs. how long before amputation or gangreane ? diabetic, on dialysis for seven years, paralized from a stroke. it was 10 days before the breaks were found on xrays. blood oole

Variable.: She may not develop gangrene and she may not need an amputation. If would be difficult to predict such a thing without an actual physical exam and evaluation of clinical tests. Discuss her case with her physician, and get the appropriate treatment.
