Not a good idea: Mixing these medications can have unpredictable effects. F you take both, you may increase the likelihood of side effects. The most serious side effect of these opiate narcotic pain medications is slowing or stopping of breathing (respiratory depression) which could cause death. Better to stick with one medication and adjust the amount you take to achieve pain relief as directed by your physician.

More Effect: If you are not used to doing this, you could experience nausea, drowsiness, dizziness, sedation, respiratory depression which means decreased breathing or even stop breathing. It generally doesn't make much sense to take both at the same time. If you are not getting these meds from a doctor you might be taking much more than you realize. This is actually illegal. See a doctor.
