Rare side effects: Just to name a few: chronic insomnia, depression, hepatitis, stevens-johnson syndrome, decreased blood platelets, death. Do not mix with alcohol. The chemical interactions between alcohol and opioids are dangerously unpredictable. Can cause severe liver failure if excessive amounts are used and when combined with chronic alcohol use or other drugs that also impair liver function.
