When : When i read your question, i thought i had an immediate response. However, then i read the added information and that really limits treatment options. You can't have narcotics or make use of a pain specialist. You have little money. With this extra data, would recommend that you consider medical accupuncture. This is acupuncture performed by a trained physician. It can often be especially helpful in localized pain conditions. It works by moving stagnated blood, lymph, electric energy (nerves) and qi. When pain sets in, the nervous system has often developed an dysfunction pattern and accupuncture can scramble that pattern, so that the nervous system now can equilibrate. Acupuncture is one of the least costly forms of medical treatment. It has been used for thousands of years in china. It is non-invasive, safe and ofte very effective. However, i will tell you from the on-set that it is likely a chronic condition would require a series of treatments. I.E., chronic problems often don't become healed after one treatment session. Take care.

Physiatrist: Often times a physiatrist, or physical medicine doctor can make good rehabilitation recommendations. Even a session or two with a physical therapists (you will need a prescription) can be a way to get some tips for home exercise and stretching. Also, I am assuming you meant myofascial pain disorder? Good luck.
