I 'm in a methadone clinic & been there for 5 years & my question is i want to find a doctor who will prescribe methadone & a pain med for bad back ?

Alternative View: I know you will get other responses to your question. So, here is a different and perhaps unexpected medical perspective. Many people who have pain on Methadone have a brain that is severely damaged by the disease of addiction. Getting clean from the narcotics and Methadone often leads to resolution of the pain. I would prescribe narcotics or alcoholics anonymous with a treatment program.
