Where to find pain management doctors that prescribe narc and listen to their patients is there actually doctors out there that doesn't think every patient that is on narcotics arent druggies? esp when they been on the same medication for years/

Look : Look for a physician with a hospital affiliation, preferrably an anesthesiologist or physical medicine and rehabilitation boar cerctificate who also has a sub-certification in pain medicine. Hospital affiliation guarantees that the physician undergoes a periodic, on-going peer-review process (evaluation by other physicians in her/his specialty). Can call your local hospital or medical association for list of such physicians.

Trial and Error: Having a relationship with a doctor can take work. Not all doctor-patient relationship work. Ask to see one if your doctor's partners, or even ask for a referral to another practice if you can't get your doctor to listen to you.
