Do you mean Common?: Binge eating can become extremely abnormal. Many folks will overeat at times but not routinely. Thanksgiving, christmas and new years are examples. Red flags fly when we have daily fears of gaining weight, eat too little, cave in and eat too much. Binging guilt leads to purging - forced vomiting or laxatives. Hiding binge food, solitary binging, pretend eating meals are serious binge eating signs.

It's not normal: Binge eating is a type of eating disorder. It usually goes hand in hand with purging, whereby the person makes themselves vomit. Another form of purging is laxative abuse. The hallmarks of most eating disorders have to do with a pre-occupation with one's weight. Such a condition can become all consuming, whereby the person's life is centered around food, weight and eating. Eating d/os are deadly.!
