A member asked:

I fractured my carpal bone (in hand), it was untreated, now healed, however in an unusual position (it's bumpy). what are the ways a doctor/surgeon could fix it? if surgery is one of the ways, how would it go, what exactly would they do to my hand?

There are 7 carpal bones in the wrist so depends on which was fractured. Most common carpal bone fractured involves the scaphoid if you are asymptomatic and fracture has healed no indication for surgery.
