2 : 2 weeks after surgery a hard lump could just be the incision trying to organize itself so to speak, or a small collection of blood or body fluid (seroma). However you should be able to call your surgeon's office and ask the office staff to relay the message to the surgeon about your inquiry to be on the safe side. You should also be able to see your surgeon free of charge if it's within 2 weeks of the surgery if you have insurance. Check with your doctor's office.
