Post-op recovery: It will take a few more weeks for recovery to stabilize, and you may require post-op physical therapy. Pain and swallowing can be handled through your doctor. The incision will take time to heal. Since your surgeon knows you best, contact the doctor and discuss in detail you lingering concerns.
