Bloating : Bloating can be caused by indigestion, reflux symptoms (gerd), intolerance to certain foods, or can represent constipation. Pain in the right upper quadrant can represent gallstones, but generalized pain is unlikely to represent that. Antacids such as tums, (calcium carbonate) or medicine to decrease stomach acid such as Prilosec (over the counter), may be helpful. If you had worsening or new symptoms, vomiting, fever, then it would be reasonable to consult your physician.
