My 13 year old daughter is experiencing sever pain during her menstral cycle when she has a bowel movement. she started her cycle jan, 2011 and her cycle has been continuous every 27-28 days.

She : She should have an evaluation. If she is having severe pain, she may need oral contraceptive tablets to control her cycles and to lessen her symptoms. I assume she has tried advil and tylenol (acetaminophen) for her discomfort. Some young women have severe cycles and need oral contraceptives or even Mirena implant to control their severe periods.
