In-Ovation : In-ovation is a system of orthodontic brackets marketed by dentsply/gac. Orthodontic brackets translate the forces of the wire, elastics, and auxillaries to your teeth resulting in movement. Consult with the orthodontist who will be treating you as to the advantages and cost differences of using this system. In this way you can make an informed decision as to how to proceed.

In-Ovation : In-ovation is one of the newest bracket design that we have available to orthodontics today. It will work in a similar way as a regular twin bracket would. The design of the bracket will allow your time in braces be slightly shorter.

The : The purpose of any brace or brace system is to provide a way to transmit the force from the wire to the teeth. Whether one type of brace vs. Another (in-ovation or other) will "work", meaning "move your teeth", should not worry you. They all "work"! however, each brace type is designed with different features that can enhance the orthodontic experience, help you keep your braces cleaner, or help reduce the amount of time you are in the office for your adjustment appointments. If you have any specific concerns or would like more information about why your orthodontist uses a specific brace type, you should feel free to ask and they will be happy to answer your questions! congratulations and good luck on starting the journey towards a new smile :).
