Yes: Braces will correct your malocclusion. Often, baby teeth can be maintained for a lifetime with good oral hygiene and a proper bite. However, baby teeth can be and often are lost earlier than your permanent teeth when trying to be maintained for a lifetime.

If you are age 36 no: If you are age 36 as shown by your name, and have a few retained "baby" teeth, then you typically do not have adult teeth underneath. These teeth have shorter roots and are occasionally locked tightly in the bone. To attempt to move them may result in bone loss without re attachment when done, leading to loose teeth that will come out. See your dentist or orthodontist for a complete evaluation.

Need evaluation: If at age 36 you have many baby teeth present in your mouth it is important to find out if you have missing permanent teeth or impacted permanent teeth. Just because permanent teeth are missing does not mean that you need orthodontic treatment, but orthodontics can probably simplify your restorative requirement. Why not see a qualified orthodontic specialist for an examination and opinion.
